His time in VC made one thing clear: he wanted to build. He set out to apply his skillset to the massive problem of biodiversity loss.
After a Master's in electrical engineering focused on robotics and AI at Case Western Reserve University, Luc spent five years writing robot-control software, managing engineering infrastructure, and leading teams across companies like Fetch Robotics (acquired by Zebra), Postmates (acquired by Uber), Burro, and Autodesk.
Driven by the real-world impact of his work, he set out to apply his robotics skills to the climate crisis and joined Antler to build a company.
After earning her PhD in Ecology at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Greta turned ecological data into actionable insights for clients at Vizzuality, then served as Head of Earth Science at Cervest (IP acquired by Mitiga), leading its ecological modeling. We are now thrilled to have Greta at Versant, where she leads the development of the ecological, species, and habitat modeling tools at the heart of our core product.
Graduated from École Polytechnique with a Master's in Environmental Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Emma spent three years at CDC Biodiversité assessing biodiversity-related risks for funds, banks, and corporates, and contributing to the Global Biodiversity Score. She now joins Versant as our Ops Manager, supporting infrastructure developers clients and keeping our delivery engine running.

With over eight years in data science and engineering, Louise honed her craft at Tesla and SoundCloud before turning to mission-driven work as Head of Data at AssoConnect and then Data Team Lead at Ecolab, the French Ministry of Environment's greentech lab, where she built a national hub of environmental indicators. We are thrilled to have her at Versant as our Data Lead, building the data infrastructure that powers our ecological intelligence at scale.
