At Versant, we help combat the biodiversity crisis by helping the some of the biggest companies that make our world work value nature. These companies are being pressured by both regulation and nature-related risk to restore nature, but lack data access to inform their decisions.

We are building the best-in-class tech stack to quantify biodiversity to power corporate investment into nature.

Our technology combines remote sensing approaches, and on-field measurement to collect high-quality data. We are building the best-in-class tech stack to quantify biodiversity to power corporate investment into nature.

🤔 who are we?

We are a venture-backed startup founded by three people passionate about doing what we can, with the skills we have, to enact positive change in the world.

Luc and Martin met during an entrepreneurship program called Antler in Paris. Their complimentary backgrounds and impact-driven entrepreneurial spirit were a perfect match to work together.

🗺️ where are we & where are we going?

We have validated our go-to-market and have two paying customers, showing early product-market fit. We have achieved this through rigorous market research, industrial partnership development (such as with the Organization for Biodiversity Certificates), research in ecology and remote sensing, and the development of a strategic science advisory board.

We are now solidifying our product and seek to scale it, as well as our sales funnel, to onboard more projects from more clients to reach the seed stage of our company.
